Neat Car 1: 2004 Mercedes Unimog U500

Facts about the vehicle:

The Unimog is a popular truck in the work force of Germany made by german manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. It is used in construction, farming, and even civil service work like fire & rescue. It runs a Turbodiesel engine, meaning that while the bhp (brake-horsepower) may be low, the torque is incredibly high, topping out at 700 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough to pull multiple tons of weight with ease.

The silver model above was manufactured in 2004 and will sell for around $400,000 USD as of 2021.

Why does Wamf like this vehicle?

I just kinda like it because it’s chonky and unique. If I saw one of these driving down the highway I would be in awe, but also in fear. How is this thing road legal? Ah whatever, would make an amazing zombie survival vehicle.
